SIGNIFICANT: alcohol, sedatives, anxiolytics, antidepressants, levodopa, hepatotoxic drugs.

Side Effects

Drowsiness, GI upset, skin rash (kava dermopathy).

Surgery: Discontinue 2 weeks before surgery.
Liver: SERIOUS: Reports of severe liver damage. Use only noble kava root.
