Keynote Symptoms
Hemorrhages — dark, fluid, non-coagulating blood oozing from all orifices. Thrombosis — cerebral, pulmonary. Left-sided hemiplegia after stroke. Diagonal symptoms (right arm, left leg or vice versa). Blood breaks down rapidly. Gangrenous tendency. Sluggish, torpid, cannot formulate speech.
Mind & Emotional Symptoms
Sluggish, torpid. Cannot formulate speech even when understanding is intact. Timid. Dullness. Cannot articulate words.
General Symptoms
Hemorrhagic tendency with non-coagulating blood. Left-sided paralysis. Diagonal affections. Worse from right side, morning, from humidity. Better from left side.

Head
Apoplexy — left-sided hemiplegia. Headache extending to shoulders. Vertigo.
Face
Swollen. Red. Left-sided facial palsy.

Epistaxis of dark, non-clotting blood.

Comparative Materia Medica
Lachesis has left-sided paralysis but with more jealousy and loquacity. Crotalus horridus has hemorrhagic tendency but more right-sided. Arnica has stroke and bruising but less hemorrhagic decomposition.

Bothrops venom is hemotoxic — causes massive tissue destruction, hemorrhage, coagulopathy, necrosis, death without treatment. Extremely dangerous. Use only potentised forms.
