Prostatic enlargement in elderly men — frequent nightly urination, retention, fullness in rectum. Warts on hands — pedunculated, pointed. Pseudo-hypertrophic muscular paralysis. Ear conditions — deafness, tinnitus. Intellectual exhaustion with prostatic symptoms. Used when Ferrum and Picricum acid are both partially indicated.

Sabal serrulata is the chief prostate remedy. Conium has prostate with ascending paralysis. Thuja has warts but on covered parts. Picricum acidum has brain fag with priapism.

Iron picrate combines iron with picric acid. Picric acid is explosive when dry and toxic. Iron salts cause GI irritation. Use only potentised forms.
