Keynote Symptoms
Right-sided sick headache — begins in occiput, rises and settles over the right eye, with nausea and vomiting of bile at height. Periodical headache — every seventh day. Burning in palms and soles (like Sulphur). Flushes of heat ascending to head and face. Nasal polyps. Acrid, burning discharges.
Mind & Emotional Symptoms
Irritable, morose during headache. Anxiety with sick stomach. Hopeful, sanguine temperament when well. Sensitive to odors.
General Symptoms
Right-sided. Burning — palms, soles, between scapulae. Periodical complaints every 7 days. Worse from sun, light, odors, sweets, right side, motion, touch. Better from sleep, lying down, darkness, pressure, acids, eructation.

Neuralgia — right side. Flushed, burning. Circumscribed redness of cheeks.
Throat
Burning, dry. Tonsillitis — right side. Diphtheria — right side.
Stomach
Nausea with salivation. Vomiting of bitter water, food, bile. Burning. Craves spicy, piquant food. Aversion to butter.
Respiratory
Cough with burning in chest. Offensive, purulent expectoration. Croupy cough. Pneumonia — right side. Asthma with stomach symptoms.

Belladonna has throbbing headache but bilateral, with more redness and heat. Iris versicolor has periodic vomiting headaches but left-sided. Spigelia has left-sided headache with heart involvement. Sulphur also has burning palms and soles but is more untidy and left-sided.

Bloodroot contains sanguinarine, a toxic alkaloid causing nausea, vomiting, CNS depression, and in large doses, collapse. The fresh root sap is caustic and irritating. Use potentised forms for internal use.
