Keynote Symptoms
Marasmus — emaciation especially of neck; head looks too large for thin body. Filthy, dirty appearance. Obstinate constipation — large hard stool that comes partway then slips back (like Silicea, Thuja). Offensive foot sweat. Car-sickness in children. Changeable symptoms. Desire for salt and bacon. Child constantly wants to be carried but puts down immediately.
Mind & Emotional Symptoms
Obstinate, headstrong. Irritable. Screaming, peevish children. Changeable — wants things then rejects them. Cross.
General Symptoms
Emaciation, changeability, offensive discharges. Worse from motion (car-sickness), downward motion, cold. Better from rest, warmth, lying on side.

Silicea has stool receding and offensive foot sweat but is yielding not obstinate. Abrotanum has marasmus from below upward. Calcarea has large head but is fat and sweaty. Borax fears downward motion.
