Keynote Symptoms
Extreme hurriedness — everything must be done quickly, cannot do things fast enough. Trembling of whole body with extreme weakness. Ecchymoses — bruising from least touch, black and blue spots. Sour eructations, sour vomiting. Hot flushes with trembling and weakness. Chronic effects of alcoholism. Lead-pipe sensation in throat.
Mind & Emotional Symptoms
Extremely hurried — everything too slow. Impatient. Irritable. Alternating moods. Unwilling to answer. Serious, sulky. Cannot bear smells.
General Symptoms
Hurriedness with trembling and weakness. Ecchymoses. Sour secretions. Worse from cold, open air, smells, excess of coffee or alcohol. Better from warmth, lying on affected side, moderate temperature.
Physical Symptoms
Head
Sensation as if brain were loose. Headache from fumes of charcoal. Worse from open air.
Mouth

Stomach
Sour eructations. Heartburn. Sour vomiting. Desire for alcohol, brandy, fresh fruit. Water causes coldness of stomach unless mixed with alcohol. Morning sickness of pregnancy.
Rectum
Diarrhea — watery, orange-yellow. Hemorrhoids — piles during menstruation.
Female Genitalia
Menopause with flushes and trembling. Menses too early, profuse. Morning sickness — sour vomiting.

Skin

Arnica has bruising but from trauma; Sulphuric acid bruises spontaneously. Phosphoric acid has weakness but more apathetic and indifferent. Nux vomica also suits alcoholics but with more irritability and GI symptoms.
