Deathly nausea with icy coldness and cold sweat — the classic seasickness picture. Deadly pallor. Sinking at pit of stomach. Worse from least motion, opening eyes, riding, smell of tobacco smoke. Better from fresh cold air, uncovering abdomen, vomiting. Cold sweat especially on forehead. Intermittent pulse.

Comparative Materia Medica
Cocculus also has motion sickness but with more vertigo and empty feeling; Tabacum has more pallor and cold sweat. Petroleum has nausea in cars but with vertigo at back of head. Veratrum album has cold sweat on forehead but with more violent vomiting and purging.
